St. James Players is committed to respecting the personal information of all its patrons and volunteers.

Collection of Information ~ St. James Players collect personal contact information (name, address, phone and e-mail address) only from its patrons and others who have actively shown or are likely to show an interest in our organization

Storage and Retention of Information ~ Personal information is stored in our database and in hard copy file. Only the President or an authorized member of the St. James Players Board of Directors have access to this information.  Personal information that is no longer required to fulfill the above-mentioned purpose for which the information was collected and used will be destroyed by shredding.

Use of Information ~ St. James Players uses personal information only for the purposes of contacting our patrons, cast members and alumni to advise of upcoming musical productions, ie.

·                      mailings (by mail or electronic means) and phone calls to provide information about upcoming events, including ticket information

·                      mailings (by mail or electronic) and phone calls to invite cast members, patrons, alumni and others who have actively shown or are likely to show an interest in the Players to special events we are hosting

If an individual requests that his or her personal information not be used for one of the above-mentioned purposes, that request will be honoured. The individual's information will be removed from the database and mailing list.

Disclosure of Information ~ St. James Players does not transfer the personal information of patrons, cast members, volunteers or alumni, to any third party without consent, except where another organization is contracted by the Players to process mailings or fill ticket orders. In these cases, steps are taken to ensure that the third party provide the same level of protection for the information as the Players.  St. James Players does not disclose, sell, trade or rent personal information to other organizations or individuals.  Information is used solely for the purpose(s) stated above.
